Still time to register!

There's still time to register for the disc golf tournament on Saturday at Theodore Wirth Park! This is going to be a great tournament for rec players/beginners and those who want to start playing tournaments as we are basing the placements strictly on score - no divisions. The players pool will be split into four categories and the top scores in each category will place! Come on down and help show the City that we want another course put in!

We are also going to be holding places open for those who just want to show up and register on Saturday. So come on out and have some fun - even if you just want to watch the tournament, the Ultiamte Hat tournament and the Freestylers (these guys do AWSOME tricks with discs - we had them down at the Aquatennial Beach Bash at Thomas Beach last weekend and they were drawing crowds of up to 200!)

Feel free to call or email me with any questions!

The tournament was awesome! Considering the short time we had to get it done, conflicting tournaments, family reunions and weddings, we had a turnout of 50 golfers and 28 ultimate players. We were incredibly lucky to have had the best day of the summer for the event!

Everyone loved the course and we are already looking forward to next year. We are confident the City AND the neighbors saw the event as a positive step in getting a course back in Theodore Wirth.

Gotta Go would like to thank everyone who participated and all the volunteers who helped set up the tent, place the baskets, take registrations, and tear down.

The results are posted on our website at www.gottagogottathrow.com. Congratulations to Todd Erickson who was the overall winner shooting a 49 round.
