Wedding Party gift

Postby RoomTenONine » Thu Oct 09, 2008 12:55 pm

So a friend of mine was in a wedding this past weekend in San Fran. The bride and groom decided to get some cool unique gifts for those in the wedding party. The groom plays a little disc golf and had heard that our friend Mike (who was in the party) started playing this year under my tutelage. So they bought Mike a brand new Innova standard bag with the following discs:

Star Aviar PnA
Star Wraith
Champ Valk
Star Beast
Champ Shark
Z Buzzz
SOLS

Not a bad first bag considering the quality of the molds and the plastics. HOWEVER, I'd have liked to see a better fairway/control driver (teebird, eagle X, gazelle) in favor of the beast or wraith which he doesn't have the control or arm for anyway (yet).

Up to that point he's been tossing some super beat sharks, a new leopard and beat starfire all in DX.

All told, that was a pretty cool gift and they didn't skimp on the plastic.

Haha. I was wondering when that one was gonna pop up. Took 1 post! The material is pretty nice though, a shinier version than I've seen before on the other Innova bags. I think Innova calls ii diamond or something.

yes, the Diamond Deluxe.

my wife has one of those, it's falling apart now, but she's used the crap out of it for two years now. it lasted a lot longer than i expected it to, considering the knocks that innova bags get.

Wow, that's a cool gift. Hopefully he doesn't develop a bad case of OAT with those fast drivers.

Haha. I keep tossing heavy Rocs at him and tell him to toss them instead.
