Hey, im kind of a newbie and i am wondering how I can get an avatar on my profile. I have tried pasting a link to a picture but it says it is invalid. Pardon my ignorance, help is appreciated

do a google search for "___ avatar for forums" there are tons of pages out there. some you can submit your own. The most common problems with pictures for avatars are format and size.
