I was reading this section and got confused with some of the pictures. are some of the pictures for hyzer and anhyzer backwards? or is my understanding of these concepts backwards?

No, the pictures are right, but they're kind of before and after shots, so that might be why its confusing for you. Imagine you're standing behind the teepad and watching that dude drive, and you're seeing different stages of his shot. Does that make sense?
