Hey Andy, you're a Discraft man now right? Thought about a Storm? No, really, I'm serious! I used to carry one and it was a great disc. The opaque Z plastic ones are quite nice. Almost as stable as a Wasp too. Can easily fill the fairway driver spot. Detroit area local Discraft Pro Daymon Pugh swears by them.

If you want something a little longer, depending on stability requirements, maybe try a Z Cyclone or XL. XL will almost overlap the Tracker though. In Z they should both have about the stability of your old Orcs, just a little slower/shorter.

If any come in the new X plastic with Discraft in italics at the top, that might be the way to go. Starts off as stable and stiff as Z and as grippy as ESP, but actually beats in progressively. My Crush from last years Royal Oak Open is beat in now to a nice long hyzer flip or anny disc, plus I have one in reserve that I won in one of Paul K's jumble tosses.

I'd just buy a Star Teebird though :P

Damnit I miss Michigan. Whouda thunk it, lol.

I'd say closer to the Wasp.

there isn't a whole lot range-wise between the tracker and buzzz.

discs that fill the gap (doesn't make them good choices for throwing though...)
eclipse, storm, stratus, squall, cobra, panther, gremlin, stingray, half of lightning's line, etc.

z storm may be too stable, x is great (flight comparable to a buzzz)
X XS should be much longer than a tracker
Z cyclone will be very overstable

I would say break in a d wasp (or even an x) and it should be plenty long to fill the gap.

I carry a cyclone, but it overlaps with your tracker (slower though). I hate to sound like a broken record, but I'd have to say an x avenger.

I have no experience with storm. The xl I wanna say will overlap with your tracker as well.

I'm guessing you're looking for something more overstable than your tracker but longer than your wasp?

I say go with an x avenger. If you don't feel it is overstable enough, pick up a z (or esp) avenger. THEN, if you don't feel the avenger is overstable enough, try a z crush.

I mainly throw what you describe:
avengers (x, esp)
z buzz
pro D buzz
z wasp
dx cyclones (which I replaced my trackers for)
I do have a z predator in there, but it is more for wind.

I like the tracker very much, but it overlaps with my buzz. And, I could do everything with my cyclone that my tracker did. So I opted for the slower disc.

i thorw avengers for wide open d. trackers as my main drivers and then it goes wasp/buzz. i can live without filling this gap but its a pretty decent sized gap. i think im gonna try a storm. seems like m best option.

if the gap is that big I would say you are either not comfortable throing buzzzs for longer shots, as it is a pretty long mid, d wasps are much longer than Z if you havent tried that.

and or:

you dont feel comfortable throwing your tracker for shorter shots.

either way alittle effort learning the capabilities of these discs should close the gap more than enough.
