star and esp plastic beat in

Postby TexasOutlaw » Tue Sep 12, 2006 2:16 pm

I'm hearing that star/esp plastic beats up faster than z/candy plastic. What are y'alls experiences.

they break in alittle faster, its not much but it is alittle different in speed. However I think they break in differently, partly depending on mold.

Both break in fairly quickly, (or said another way never change much from the day you buy them).

I have some that need more beating than others, but then they stay the same after that.

I think both are EASIER to get to glide sooner than Champ. I do not know if Star will last as long as Champ, but ESP will for sure.

I like BOTH better than Champ.

If you throw hard, star will break in very quickly, ESP will break in consistant but not as quick as X. Neither are more durable than champ/Z but they get better grip for sure.

That's what I'm wondering about. I don't like them actually, but I'm wondering if I should keep throwing them just to learn the break in characteristics.

I have a surge and avenger in esp.

I've got a freind who throws pretty hard with an esp surge in his bag, and that baby is starting to get nuked. But man, can he throw some annies with it. Unfortunatly, those annies have been happening when he just wants a hyzer flip. :?

I've got a Star Valk in my bag that has been my go to hyzer driver forever now and it has hardly broken in at all. I just picked up my first ESP disc, a wasp, so I don't know how well ESP breaks in yet.
