I am an beliver in the ElementX. I was out playing in 25+ mph winds yesterday, and the ELX performed very well in a variety of wind directions, holding l/r and high/low lines.
I agree with the statement that, if thrown right, the ELX flies more like a new KC roc, but holds right turns lines suprisingly well. I've got an S ELX that I haven't thrown much. They're VERY hard, and feel like they'd stand up to a lot of trashing. I also feel the ELX is faster than the Roc; I compare it more to a disc with Roc type accuracy and Leopard type speed.
I suggest checking one out.

I've been tossing a flick and Z predator in headwinds lately with good success. I also throw a star wraith at times. The flick just cuts right through the wind and gets way better yardage than any other driver into the wind.
