Frank_Delicious wrote:The Striker kinda replaced my eagles on a few shots and kinda replaced my SOLFs but didn't really replace either of them fully. The eagle fights the wind better, flicks better and overhand better for me so the only time I would throw the striker was for a few extended hyzer shots or some dead straight shots in the 350 range. The orion is a little longer than the striker for me and is like a longer eagle for me, which I like because I can throw it like an eagle but get an extra 30+ ft out of it and pretty much as long as I have eagles in the bag I will have Orions.

I like the striker and still have some and am still messing with it but it really hasn't done anything to kick my Eagles or my Orions out of the bag.

eagle is a very underrated overhand disc. Before I got hooked on the FB, 11x flat eagle was my $$ overhand.

I have owned or thrown all of the Latitude 64 discs besides the Spike and the Primitus. All I can say is they keep getting better and better with every release. The XXX is AWESOME! I like the Vision for huge turnovers and dead straight shots I can throw nice and easy. The Riot BOMBs once you get adjusted to the slanted rim and the Pure just comes out of the hand so smooth. Unfortunately, I have been turning my Strikers over, baaadly of late. I know it's part mechanical, but I'm dying to try the trident to see just what it will do. I'll take two if anyone has them....

Trident flies similar to Striker but is much shorter and fades a little bit more. For guys who can throw far it turns over a little bit but fades back. It´s perfect for shots in the range between 350-400 ft. when the midrange is an option but requires 110% power, then you gear up to the Trident!. It is also controlable and feels "solid" in the air... The disc is quite flat but with a blunt nose. The grip is similar to the XXX.

Sounds perfect. Fat nosed Eagle-X?

I took one out to the field the other day. It feels good, the nose is super fat, and it is a lot more HSS than I thought it would be. Not much else to report until I get some more throws in, but I'm going back out today after work.

I got two, a flat 169 and a 175 with a bit of dome. Took the 169 to the course today, stability is right between the striker and XXX but a bit slower. Closest disc I can compare it to is maybe a banshee, but I havn't thrown one of those in a long time. I did sand the bottom edge of the nose a bit, it's sharp and felt like it would cut my finger on forehands.

The Slitz is now the Blitz, and it's looking like tomorrow will be likely for our Lat stuff..., unless it comes in before then

Slitz has been renamed to the Blitz.

The "dominess" is too close to call, if I had to guess, the clear ones may have half a fraction of a mm more dome.
