it appears that the avegner is now avalible in ESP outside of fundraiser discs. Thats happy, they also boosted its rating to a 1.8 equal to the Z, which I think is more accurate than saying its between X and Z (wouldnt that be Y anyways?)

I had one that was marked 174 that weighed almost 176. It was way overstable, much more overstable than my new X Predator. Mine was orange if that matters for anything. I liked the feel of the plastic but I lost the disc in the first 3 days I had it.

X preds arent that overstable (accually break in to be very straight). and accually weighing 176 on a disc marked 174 (avenger max weight) is not bad at all, alot of wraiths, especially in star marked 175 are accually 180+ (and Im sure there are avengers and surges that weigh that much, it was not a shot to innova)

They have th ESP Avengers at the local disc store.

The X Predator is a very usable disc, I agree. Like a fast DX Teebird-X.

The last sentence is the real problem with all these new discs. One bad throw, and there goes $18...

I figured so, I just never heard anything, Discraft stuff isnt hyped over every new disc to come out in new plastic I geuss.
I have had my CFR (i know innova term, whatever) ESP avenger since the surge came out, but I thought they were still saving that one for Fundraisers, oh well :-P

Discraft certainly doesn't get the (positive) publicity that other manufacturers get. I carry an x avenger and an esp (which replaced my z) one as well. I keep wanting to remove my esp from the bag but keep getting reasons to keep it.

I have hit chains with it many times. It has a very predictable fade at the end where my x is more stable (instead of overstable).

yeah, my beat Esp is my best moderately overstable driver, handles wind great, and makes the most accurate sweeping hyzer disc, especially when the Z pred is not long enough.
