I am still keeping my 1.2 SOLFs, and my local shop just-disc-golf actually carries that brand. The PD may be the best mix of the 1.1 MOLF D and 1.2 SOLF predictability. But with time for only 3 games a month, I don't get the air time to really decide over a wide range of weather and course situations. The 1.2 SOLF is probably better than the PD at less than max huk (better over a wide range throw speeds).

Threw 1.1 175 SOLF on a practice field yesterday not well rested after two rounds and the longest distance s-curve went to 380' which is more than 11x 175 TB and much less than brand new with flashing 175 Star Valkyrie landing at 400' skipping forward to 422'. Valk had more sideways play and anny angle because SOLF landed anny at 330' because it can't flex out from as steep angles. Valk does flex out at least with flashing. Valk seemed to keep up speed later in flight better probably even better once the flashing wears. I'm not removing it probably.

i have a MUCH harder time finding 1.2's than 1.1

Now that the 1.1's are mostly gone I would think that you will have an easier time getting the 1.2 MOLF. Check with Disc Nation. I know they can hook you up.

To me, the 1.1's and the 1.2's are almost identical. I'm going to have to inspect the wing to see if there is a difference. I'll report back.

The nose seems to be just a touch more square on the 1.2 MOLF's. This is the same thing I noticed on the 1.2 QOLF's as well. Except that on the 1.2 QOLF's, they are a touch less stable. I didn't notice any difference on the MOLF's. Maybe I was not consistent that day...

Does anyone else out there throw both the 1.1 and 1.2 MOLF's? If so, how do the two fly to you? I do love them both though.

I like the OLF mold, and threw it for a bit. It didn't do anything for me that an X predator doesn't do so it didn't make the cut.

It's a little too fast to be a solid control driver, and not as long as a Wraith for me, so it loses the distance driver slot as well.

I don't find myself wanting something between the Pred/Wraith very often so it never stuck in the bag.

My QoLF is my go to distance driver. And my SoLF is beat and awesome. When people ask me, what was that disc? And I say, it's a Millennium Quantum Orion Long Fade, then they're eyes go crossed and they start to drool, then they see a bird and chase after it.

and both look like the 1.2 form to me, but I haven't thrown either
new stamp on 1.3 LF, same design new number on LS.
I've seen 1.3 LS in disc nation, but specify that run in order notes to be sure. No 1.3 LF in yet.

On the MILLENNIUM forum I posted this. I was very surprised.

"OK, field tested a new 167 1.1 QOLF and a new 167 1.2 QOLF. To my surprise, the 1.2 was consistently straighter. I thought the 1.2 QOLF mold was supposed to be more overstable. Maybe one of the two are weird. Anyway, has anyone else noticed this??"

I compared the wing and the edge of the wing is more square on the 1.2 QOLF. At the 167 weight the 1.2 was noticably less stable.

anyone have any opinions on whether the OLF and the Assassin overlap for someone throwing around 350+?

I have a 170g 1.2 SOLF, 168g 1.1 MOLF, 176g E Assassin. The Assassin is noticeably more HSS and less LSS than the OLF. At max weight I'm not flipping the assassin over much unless I really get on it. (I've got some lighter ones coming for long turnovers.)

That's what I thought too. Except my 1.1 MOLF is really kinda flippy, but comes back. The Assassin seems nuts straight. I'm sure it's just because it's new and max weight. Once I get a lighter one or beat one in I'm sure I'll see some difference.
