Top 5 Most Accurate Fairway Drivers??

Personally I like my overstable hog banshee for accurate throws. It has the most control out of any of my fairway drivers. I know its always going to come back so I can use that and make accurate throws. But "control" can be defined in many ways like its been said already.

Teebird is a good bet though.

Which one is the most accurate? The one you practice with the most.

A disc will fly the same way twice in a row if you throw it the same way twice in a row. You have to be accurate before you can expect the discs to be accurate.

If you don't have perfect releases every throw then you should be looking for a slow, forgiving disc with low nose angle sensitivity so if your release isn't perfect then the flight will still be close to what you want. Typically the thinner rimmed discs fall into this category. Leopards, Cyclones, XLs, JLSs, Cheetahs, Sabres, Stalkers, Polarises (Polarii?), etc. Eagles and Teebirds will do well for this also.

My personal picks are the Star or Champ Leopard and the Champ Teebird but I have way more throws with them than any of the other ones I listed. XLs, Cyclones, and EXs are close seconds.

What do you mean by accurate? Does accurate mean line shaping? Straight shots? predictable? I can be accurate with any of the discs listed below but the 5 in the first list are the ones I prefer and fit my throwing style the best.

anyway I would guess (even without accurate defined) this is a pretty good list in no particular order:

What qualities does a Cyclone have that makes it even better in this department than the Gazelles? I notice that a few people put the Cyclones on their lists and not the Gazelles.

Because the Cyclone isn't just "like" a Roc, it basically is a long Roc. They start out the same, just stable, and progress stability wise around the same. The TP Cyclones is by far the best and can stand on it's own by any means, but is essentially a Longer Roc. They are so much a like in their design, the Cyclone and Roc to get really good distance have to be thrown about the same ways, they love being "flown" and not just thrown. But, they just react the same to the same forces in just about all situations. The Cyclone will actually get to the point where it flips faster, but that takes a long time.

I love Gazelle's, and if I wasn't throwing Cyclones I would be throwing Gazelle's, especially if I could get a Star Gazelle to throw in rotation with some DX's. They are fantastic disc, and probably my second choice in fairway drivers as well. But, the TP Cyclone especially lives up to it's hype. The ESP's could be good, with quite a bit of wear, but I'm not sure it'll ever replace the TP's. I'd really like to find some nice domey D Cyclones, but they are impossible to find it seems.

It really depends on how you weight each of the factors he's looking for. There are ways to do the weightings that might put the Teebird off the top 5.

IMO, the Sabre is being underrepresented here. It excels at 1 and 2 direction shots, like the Teebird, but seems to hold pure anhyzers better (IMO) and is easier to range with. Sure it's not quite as long, but I'd rank distance low given the question is about accuracy not accuracy and distance.

A person's throwing distance is a huge factor in this, too. Where the Polaris LS and Eagle-X sit depends on how far you're throwing.

I use strikers for my fairway drivers, and more effectively than I did with teebirds, so YMMV.

And if I call Rocs fairway drivers then I could argue that they're more accruate than all of them.
