along with minimalism another good way to really improve, is pick those 7 molds and stick with them as long as you can. go ahead and try new stuff out, but dont put it in the bag until you are more comfortable with the new disc as you are the old. I havent gotten to post my bag lately (other than mabey a subtraction or two) because it hasnt changed. My scores are greately improving, not because i can throw further or much more accurately, but overall consistancy is better. I played two tourneys yet this year a month apart first one I played intermediate got first, won by 2 strokes, second (with a larger showing) I placed third in advanced, only 4 strokes off the lead. I am carrying 7 molds, one of them is a trick disc. I will be down to 6 molds once I break in a S element x to replace my E element. I easily know each disc in my bag better than I have ever known any disc Ive thrown.

i will do a minimal amonut of molds as soon as i can afford it. i just thrw my new buzz and tracker and the buzz is staying the trackernot so much. my bag goal for the end of this season is:

2-3 pro wraiths 169,172,174
3 pro orcs all the same weight, 172
2 pro beasts 172, 175
2 X XS's 169, 173
3 rocs(2 pro 1 DX) 180ish for each
2 X buzzes 177, 173
3 soft magnets all 180

i think that would be a good bag for me.....

so i was up at the field practicing and i looked though my bag and pulled out what i don't throw. i went from 24 discs down to 16 and 10 or 11 molds. now, all the disc went back into my bag but i know i'll never throw 'em. once i get my cart ill have the top box with the disc i throw, the middle box with the rarely thrown stuff and the bottem box, well thats for beer.......

Nope, up to 175. I do have a black E Wiz though that weighs in around 182. I don't throw it, but its cool.

Are disc weight regulations ever enforced during tournaments? ie, say at the pro worlds, are there pdga officials that check your bag before you tee off?
anyway,

176 E Illusion (headwind distance, skip shots, distance hyzers)
172 dx teebird (various control drives, very versatile)
175 champ teebird (big headwind)
169 champ valkyrie (distance s-curves)
170 dx beast [beat] (right turns, rollers)
179 kc roc (most shots around 300 ft)
178 dx roc [beat] (right turns)
175 firm wizard (drives around 250 ft)
172 medium wizard [beat] (holds a right turn, also used for controlled flick rollers)
169 ss wizard (putts)
173 bulldog (putts/approaches in strong headwinds)

I was at work before, and i couldnt remember the weights. Thats why some have ? next to them also. no time to look online, i was pushing it already just by posting.

I was going to get 3 putters. i dont know if i like SS or Soft yet, so im going to try those out.. one of the putters i wanted lighter for those long puts because i have a puny arm. ive never used a lighter putter before, so i dont know if ill get it, but the thought behind it sounds right. we will have to see. im getting 3 wizzards but the firmness/weights are still TBD.

when you get them they will more than likely be marked 175, but they may accually weigh in more, most max weight discs are over the limit, however if its marked 175, no one can really say anything.

Bag rehaul. I'm sticking to this bag setup, maybe change weight/beatness for multiples if I go to different courses.

174 DX Teebird (new)
172 DX Eagle (new)
172 DX Teebird (broken in)
170 DX Eagle (beat)
164 Pro Line Leopard
172 4x JK Valk

177 Champion Glow Roc (slightly broken in)
172 10x KC Roc (broken in)
180 DX Roc-San Marino (beat)
150 DX Roc (broken in)

169 CE Classic Roc (beat) - Finesse putter/upshot
170 DX Classic Roc (new) - Utility putter/upshot

Temporarily taking out the Glow Roc for a new DX Roc, to get another in the beatness cycle, and aquiring a ultra beat Roc somehow to fill void (I lost my old one in thin air) and once new DX Rocs hit the shelves, im buying a stack as well as Teebirds in the new DX (or the same plastic as the World's Biggest 2002, it's money). Valk's staying, I have a few CE in reserve and another 4x if need be, at least until I try it in the new DX.

Putter:
174g Wizard (only marked as "S", I don't know what firmness)
It's black and looks really good in the chains. 8)
Midrange:
176g Z Wasp
I'll be supplementing this with a D Wasp near the same weight by this weekend hopefully. Go UPS, go!
Drivers:
172g X Predator
I bought this for one specific hole at my home course and birdied today it on my first try with this disc. I'm glad I didn't let the nitwit at the disc shop talk me into that Champ. monster. If I didn't enjoy hording frisbees so much I'd put the POS flick that that this Predator replaced up for sale. Discrafts rating system is terrible.
166g * TL
\m/
174g DX Teebird
I read this website too :)
171g DX Beast
Goes far, curves right. This disc is perfect for the 18th hole at my home course. If I hadn't always fallen so far behind by that point I could make some nice 18th hole comebacks by birdying a hole that most other people can't with this disc.
Mini:
red innova mini
I can't get a clean release with this thing. Not a good putter either.
