I got a couple of throws in with jubuttib's CPD2:s, and if I'm not satisfied with the blitz as a headwind driver when I get to test it properly in the summer, The CPD2:s gonna be the disc of the choice. I used to be a destroyer guy.

So now that you are healthy and throwing again, I don't recall you going into much detail regarding your thoughts on the PD2 other than you obviously like them. What do you think?

So I've thrown the C one a bit, but not that much because I've been playing a shorter course lately (Rosedale after being moved for the Ice Bowl). I did get out to WyCo a couple weekends ago (which is a long course with a 15-25mph wind all day), and the P performed very nicely in the wind. I could turn it over and really smash into it, having it track to the right before finishing left. It was a predictable S too; I didn't really have to worry about it finishing, which I really dug. I hope to get some more practice with the C soon now that it's starting to warm up and I can spend some time on some longer courses during the weekends; it's still too early in the year for me to get much play on the weekdays in.

It's got a higher speed requirement than the PD, but I can see how you compare the PD2 and the PD, especially in the P line.

I can throw an S PD about 375, do you think the PD2 would fit into a bag to replace bosses or halos if I can get those out 50' farther?

I know some of these have already been partially made but I'm getting down to crunch time and need to hammer out my warp speed discs in the soonness.

They actually feel very similar, with the P-PD2 being more HSS and LSS. The glide and distance potential are definitely there, the P-PD2 is just more reliable and will probably last a fair while longer before it is beat too much.

Tested a 175 P-PD2 orange against my 174 GL Halo, 169 Opto Halo, and 175 S-PD in all sorts of windy conditions today... I did not care for the P-PD2! It was much slower than what I thought it was going to be. It really didn't travel any faster than my PD's, but my Halo's sure did get out there further in the wind, especially the opto one.

I found my P-PD2 to not be overstable. It would go straight with a 1 O'clock headwind, but man was it slow. Throwing it on an anny in the headwind lead to a gradual fade back. Sidearm was right on target, just not lenghty. My opto Halo is more overstable, and goes further than the Chaos. My GL flew a little less stable than the Chaos, but outdrove it every time in wind conditions.

My S-PD was going as far as the P-PD2, but it was more of a hyzer flip with that headwind.

Was not too thrilled with the initial performance of the Chaos. By the hype, I was expecting it to be faster than what it showed. Will have to keep it in the bag for a few more rounds before I decide on getting rid of it.
