I had a few bucks come my way and could not resist placing an order. I ended up picking out a Star Gazelle, Champ XG Roc+, and 2 Star Roc+. I am almost positive I am going to put the Star Roc+ in my bag if they feel as comfortable as my Star Ontario Rocs. The other two are going to be for fun only, although I would not be surprised if I like the Star Gazelles. I could not, however, pull the trigger on the Pro Coupes. I like the few reviews I have seen about, but the last thing I want to do is try another putter and shatter what little confidence I have in my putting game.

Just got word from the ifs that star and champ cheetahs as well as dx griffins are next to be added to the store

I asked about other molds and how they decide on what gets tested and released. This is what the ifs said-

It's based on the production schedule. Since DX Cheetah's were being made, it was an ideal time to make some Champion Cheetah's as well. OOP molds are sometimes random, and sometimes based off interest. We are going to test molds such as the Ram, Bulldog, and Condor soon, but no timeline for production has been set

Raven is gummy and doesn't feel bad. The scorpion is stiff though and obviously more domey. Not sure how they fly yet. I forgot how similar the wings on these things were to a cyclone/gazelle

Champy-Star by any chance? My favorite is the Star discs that have Champ looking swirls when held up to light.

Nah..not champy star really. To be honest,yhe first think that came to mind when I felt the plastic was ...ace race esp hornet. Thought this plastic is more durable. Its really gummy in the plate.the rim is more stiff though


Ok,I just got back from throwing these things and here is what I found. I threw them with flashing intact...the raven was super beefy..ok maybe not that beefy but it was like a firebird almost and the scorpion was like a banshee in terms of flight.

After deflashing them I got better results. Hucking them both into wind and with wind behind they never turned n burned. The raven flew more like a fresh glow gazelle. Penetrated wind nicely flew straight with about a couple feet of turn, then faded out. Basically how tye scorpiin was flying at first.

I then threw the scorpion into a wind and I got about 10' of tracking to tye right then it straightened out, then faded. Botu were consistantly the same in distance but they both had diff lines of flight.

For reference. Both were 180g. The scorpion was a little bit bigger in diameter next to the raven

For a better comparison of the two discs flight comparisons, it was like throwing an eagle and teebird next to eachother

That dome on the scorpion pisses me off. Anyone get a coupe or hammer yet? If so, what are the domes like there?

Is Innova making it clear that many of these discs are not legal for PDGA play? I've already heard of 180g pro Gazelles and I saw on the website that they are selling some proto configurations that were never approved.

theyre not selling them as 180g, theyre just overweight. besides the ones that people are saying are 180 g are GLOW gazelles. not pros
