These could be nice. The crystal FLX Challengers fly MUCH better than the brickish crystal Z challengers, and actually fly a lot like soft Ions. That soft Z plastic actually glides well, especially if thrown smoothly. I learned to putt with Z Magnets(they were what I was using when I decided to start practicing), which set me up pretty well to move onto Wizards.

I don't understand the last sentence of your post at all DS.

Also I didn't really think the cryztal flx challengers I tried how any more glide than their normal Z brethren.

Man, if it weren't for the re-tooled Ions, I'd be all over these. Thanks MVP

The putting style that I had adopted putting those stiff and stable Z magnets translated well to the first medium(hard) wizards I picked up...I'm not saying that they are that similar all around, but both had similar drop rates and glide inside the circle.

I think there is a dramatic difference between the crystal Z challengers I've thrown and the flx Z ones. Granted I've not thrown a crystal challenger made after '06, those older ones where absolute bricks. I could heave it with a strong throw and it would drop from the sky after about 260'. On the same line I could get the flx version 300'.

yeah the older cryztal challengers were bricks, the new ones are not really the same and have a little more glide than the old ones. The flx Z's were pretty much the same as the new cryztals for me, just harder to get a clean release on.

Also I wouldn't call the new cryztal or cryztal flx ones glidey really. Would you say you think they are glidey?

Well, the Challenger is probably one of the least gliding putters, so I guess I wouldn't call any of them glidey. When only comparing to other Challengers I think the crystal flx have the best glide at high speeds and I threw them the farthest without wind help of all the Challengers.

they are ridiculously tacky/grippy and not the flxiest flx i've felt (good). also some were pretty cloudy for cryztal, which was pretty tasty

we were stamping some up today.. i made a new DN barstamp for these, plus the DC logo up top

So did no one ever end up ordering these? I'm curious how these things fly.
