Can you let us know when these are available?
I was told late winter, early spring. Hope that holds true...
And the Q Astra is very nice. It's great being a team member!!
Haven't tried that one yet either. I am going to start saving for some of the new glitter QJs and a big Mill order this spring. Anyone want some CE QJs?

Interesting. A 165g Quasar would sure bomb in a tailwind or calm weather. I'll have to grab one of those when they're released along with a sparkle qjls.
Got a lot of Quasar throws on film today in this & this video. Kinda hard to follow them after the first 250' or so but I do the best I can as a one man production crew using a digital camera
Took all 4 of my Quasars out to the field today. Was going to try to film a bunch of shots but my memory card was full from filming some other things earlier in the day. To summarize my field session, my 171 broken in Quasar goes damn far, and my 175's are very beefy compared to it. I took the flashing off my 171 before I ever threw it and I decided to leave it on the 175's I have since their primary purpose is for more wind fighting ability than the 171. Even with the flashing still on I was able to get them out to about 500'. The 175's weren't turning at all for me at that distance even in 10mph headwinds and crosswinds. With a flat release into a 10mph headwind they'd sometimes track right 1-5 feet but for the most part it was just 450' or so straight out then a nice, predictable finish. Really liking them, glad I stocked up.
Much easier to see them land if you full screen it in HD.

I have a new camera coming so that should help. I'll also try to find a better spot to film distance throws, something with a dark background. The last two went straight then faded, the first was a big D S curve.
