I have a new camera coming so that should help. I'll also try to find a better spot to film distance throws, something with a dark background. The last two went straight then faded, the first was a big D S curve.

Would filming at dusk with leds make it easy to see?

LED would mess up the flight.

Having someone on the camera to follow the disc would be the best.

To simple to keep it simple. I don't see it happening.

I just went out and tossed my quasar. I didn't really see much difference between it and most of my destroyers. Some turn, some fade. Didn't hold up to the wind like I had planned. Its a very nice disc, just different than I expected. I was getting some good tosses with it when I figured out it wasn't a PD2

From the sound of it, there are two "types" of Quasars. Faster PD2, and the "straight, distance" variety. The PD2 type overstable ones are the minority I believe.

Really? I thought most 175 domey ones were piggy and the 170ish ones were destroyer esque. Oh well

I think that applied mostly to first runs. I've only thrown one though, so take my word with a grain of salt.

That's been my experience so far, but then again I removed the flash from my 171 and left it on the 175's, so that affects things.

@dave - a lot of current domey 175gs don't seem to be as high in PLH as original batch that got released. I have a super domey, high PLH white one that I only bring out on super windy days. the purples were definitely flatter than the whites

But you are right, it really is just a destroyer with 30 more ft
