I hit my first ace with a z xpress then hung it on the wall. When i went to replace it i bought an xs instead and at least one xs has been in my bag since. I got a z xpress as a make a trade even disc about a month ago and started throwing it when i lost a cyclone that i had used for years as a turnover disc. The xpress was more stable and has been flying dead nuts straight at about 80% power. The one thing I have noticed is that it lacks some glide which is good fit for my bag so it doesn't over lap with my xs to much as i use them at different levels. I know it is old school but so am I.

Yeah, that was my exact experience with them when I threw them last a couple years ago. I was surprised that the disc did not turn very easily and the lack of glide did make it fairly predictable. I think it just has a horrible name...Discraft should OOP it, and then re-release it with a new name.

I got a Z xpress years back because I fell in love with my X xpress, but was disappointed to find out it was completely different. A lot shorter than my X which I think was because of the huge dome on the Zxpress, it just slowed down soooo fast. It was pretty straight though, which I knew it would be, but the distance difference was vast. I could get my Xpress to 400', but no matter what I did getting the Zxpress over 330' seemed an attempt doomed to fail.
