I've thrown a champ zephyr before and they are flippy and glideless.

yeah but some might wnat them since they are blizzard now...don't know if that will solve the issue.

i should have said that in the first post.

but most likely they will be best for warmup and trick shots.

well only the ones from 155g-168g are in blizzard. The other ones are regular champ. If someone gets a blizzard one post a review and let me know if they are better than the first test run of champ zephyrs.

Thanx for the heads-up. Two 150g Blizzard Zephyrs (actually, I requested lightest available, so we'll see what I get) on my way via UPS Ground. Kudos, DGR!

It will be interesting to see how these Blizzard versions under 162g work for Accuracy and Discathon.

I'll know in a couple of weeks at VA States.

Just rec'd 150g Blizzard Zephyrs. Very gummy & absurdly domey. (150g Blizzard Zephyr on R, 160 DX Zephyr on L.) The flightplates seem extremely thin. Flight test this afternoon.

Holy shit. Glad I passed. Why is almost every disc from the factory store stupid domey?

Pass. Regular is too tall for comfort and consistency for me. And undepowered DX fades at least when new and with rip cleanliness being an issue no less HSS and wind handling and allowing for breaking in is a no no for me. Especially when there are regular putters that can perform better at least if you carry more than one.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

Zephyrs can suck it for putting, and golf in general. I use 'em for Accuracy in all-around competitions, such as VA States on 13-15 April. We'll see shortly if the 150g Blizzards will be my weapon of choice this year, or if my well-worn 160g DX ones will win out. (Or if I'll dust off the ancient-skool Apples I used back in '02-'03.)
