z challenger or cryztal z challenger?

Hey guys I'm looking for one of these for an upshot disc. i seem to have worn out my flx challenger it turns over really easily, time to retire it i would love the pro d for upshots but would like one that holds stability much longer. which of these have the stability of the pro d? And also is the flx z plastic different from the cryztal z in anyway? Thanks in advance for the help.

Well the flx version isnt as os as the d challengers andthe zone is a bit too os for what I'm looking for. the flx challenger that i have is still a good disc dont get me wrong but its outlived its purpose. I am just looking for one of these versions that lasts longer and is a bit more os.

And keltik dont think it hasnt crossed my mind but i already have a drone and havent needed a zone just yet. i will purchase eventually though for side arm upshots

The challenger just isn't really an overstable putter anymore. It's a pretty straight disc in all of it's plastics. Get a focus or banger or something if you want a DC putter that is more overstable.

Or maybe work on working the challenger on hyzer lines. It will hold them, you just got to learn how to throw it.

I agree about it not being overstable. It will hold any line you put it on. I like how versatile it is. Like any good putter should be.

I have never owned a z Challenger.

I started carrying an ion for approach shots when I need more durability.

Ions and pro d challengers for the win!

I feel ya. the Ion can do it. Or you could try a VP, Wizard KC Aviar etc. I don't know if you want just DC.

and did they stable out the Focuses? The Ace Race ones I have are kinda flippy.

The couple I had for a while were BB DX aviar stable.

Well idk bout them not being os anymore. the pro d concave ones that i got are pretty os. not crazy bit just what i wanted. i own a banger and i like the challenger way more. I'm only interested in the knowledge of the topic. Not to be rude but the thread is getting a bit offtopic. thanks for the input though.

Well to answer the "which has the stability of a pro-d" question. Both. The cryztals and the Z I have throw a lot like the pro-ds I have. The challenger is one of the more consistently run discs throughout the plastics as they all seem to throw about the same for me. I would really work on just figuring out disc manipulation for upshots if you don't want a different disc.

Also super used beat up putters are pretty much the most useful and best discs in your bag and make the best upshot discs.
