Not a wind disc, no way, but there's a big difference between Opto and GL Saint. Tried the Saints of a friend (Opto and GL, both +172g). "Overstable Control Driver" was written on the stamp. That was true bs, but the Opto Saint was able to handle some headwind, the GL could not.

Funny, I'm very fond of the GL River and the GL Flow is my main distance driver. If I want to add a Latitude disc inbetween those two it's going to be an Opto Saint. (As for the distance it's just in the middle of a River and a Flow for me).

Wouldn't go as far as to say it's big, most Lat molds are bit more stable in Opto, my 168g GL is nearly identical in flight to my 175 and 176g Optos, but it's impossible to tell the true stability difference in such small quantities as these. I did try a nearly flat 175g GL one, and it was flipcity.

My 175, 176 optos had no trouble with 430', and same goes for my 168g GL. But on a low line any further than that you start running into flipping over and not coming back.

I don't throw 430' and we were not throwing distance but checking out the local course, so I was throwing on pretty low lines all the time. Also, there were just two Saints, one in both plastics, so can't say anything about the variance. Anyway, the Opto was just as Turso describes it. The GL was something else - even I was able to hyzerflip it in minor rearwind...

I haven't thrown the Timberwolf lately and not a lot at all with the Sain and so far i'm not too impressed with it. Both flip and have a relatively small fade with the Timberwolf being straighter early and late in the flight. From memory. Mind you my GL 167 Saint is 5 grams lighter than my Timberwolf. The Saint is faster. I cannot estimate distance now because things have changed after the last toss with the Twolf.

Blue and Orange Opto sparkles - Quite flippy
Red Opto - Strangely stable
Pink GL - Again, strangely stable

I have three Air Saints in the 150s, and they fly similarly to the lightest Champ Vikings I could find. Saint has a bit more glide, though. Usual disclaimer: throwing 300ish.
