I've been coming across champion beasts molded in a new (to me at least) champion blend that is a lot clearer than most blends and feels like it would wear like iron. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
I hope they start running other things in it aside from beasts. Or maybe I should try a beast.

Not having seen, felt or thrown those i can't say for sure but if it flies like the Beasts from the last two years or more overstable you should definitely pick one up because Beasts rule.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

I'm not-so-patiently waiting for that stuff to make it to the TeeBirds.

It's also in firebirds which aren't as flat either
As for teebirds, the new ones are coming out in stiff pearly plastic

I've held some Roadrunners in the same clear, hard-as-glass, stiff-as-nails Champion plastic. These were X-outs, so not sure if they made it to main run.

I can get a picture of this later, but I got a new Champ Teebird in a recent local trade. It has a higher PLH than my 8/10 Glow Champ Teebird and less dome than any I have ever seen...except for 11x birds. Oh and it's opaque and slightly gummy...not necessarily pearly, but I wonder if this is part of the new champ blends that are coming out.
I too would love to see some stiff, clear, flat Champ Teebirds!

I have a champ mamba like this, stiff, pearly and SLICK. Reminds me of the old pearly Z plastic which was also too slick/slippery for my tastes.
