I'm messing with a 167 Champ Tern for this...It's showing good promise, especially in ideal conditions. It has a ton of glide and a strong tendency to pull out of a turn late and glide forward.

At my most recent tourney I had a sweet 450' D4 flex for par, a 400' D4 stall out way left for bogey, and a grip lock 150' D4 into the tree right for bogey. The last throw was off a wet teepad and not 100% that stupid disc's fault. I'd probably do better turning over my jls for easier upshots as birdie on a 550' hole is one in a thousand.
BTW, I see a lot of sub 400' throwers liking the Tern and Krait for max d, especially the Tern.

Used to have a flat 167 Star Katana that was long and predictable. I lost it at De La. Looked for solid hour. Tried to replace it but not go. Will try a Tern I think.
Right now a 169 TP King is my longest. Turns over from hyzer and once in a while it even comes back. I plan to get another one soon.
