Tompa Lompa: They like Westside have their own molds. We will never mix L64, Westside and DD molds. We don't do it like Innova... They have both the discname and the logo engraved in the molds.


Tompa Lompa: I can also say that mixing pieces of different molds togheter is almost impossible with our setup. You cant just take an upper part and throw it on some lower part without making new pieces. It will not fit as easy as you might think, the weight will most likely be wrong, the upper lid will be uneven in thickness etcetera.

My buddy was down at DD a couple of days ago and got to fondle the high speed driver. He said it felt like a destroyer clone. I am interested to see what the putter profile looks like. Wondering if it will be wizard'ish.

yeah etcetera is rarely written out but he probably only did because he is a non native speaker of English.

Hrmm, if DD paid for their own molds then they dropped some big money (relatively speaking) to get this going. Flow isn't that close to a Destro (Sword is ). My curiosity is still piqued by this whole endeavor. I'm still willing to bet that the Escape is a tweaked Saint. Not sure about the Mid and Putter. I'm still calling Warship and Mercy mods (and by mods I just mean a spacer or a different core).

as for the + rim business, I guess I'm used to it with Lat molds. I've thrown the Core long enough to where it feels like it's what makes the Core a Core. The drivers although I will admit are better without. I wouldn't be upset either way. BTJM.

I might have to try out a warship then. I really want to put a DD disc in my bag, and I'm fairly sure it won't be one of the drivers since that part of my line up is pretty permanently set.

Why would they be? I ask because I have no idea why any company is making + mold discs... it seems to be that everyone hates plus mold but they are becoming more and more common. Also, I have no idea what "benefit" the company would have for making the plus mold.

I heard plust rims come out of the mold easier/faster.
