Prodigy Disc Help

Postby Hue Jabut » Thu May 23, 2013 12:22 pm

I've recently bought a Prodigy disc because I need a mid range disc. The man at the store said it was a m1 but on the front of the disc it says prodigy first run. Is it actually a m1? I thought that first runs were only drivers. Thanks

First run refers to the first production run of discs that comes out of a particular mold.

So each mold will have a first run whether it be a distance driver, midrange, or putter.

A first run is generally only important in terms of value to someone who likes to collect discs rather than throw them. Unless the flight characteristics of the first run are superior to any subsequent runs.

As far as I know, Millenium is the only company that identifies the run number after the first run. (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc)
