Patriots are the most popular discs made by Legacy thus far (I also love the Clutch and Clozer as P&A duty), you can find them in different stabilities. I always thought the Leopard was a long disc, but the Patriot is even longer, and with the same feeling of control.

The best Patriot ever made was the gold sparkle from the prototype runs (they only molded 100 of these). Perfect stability, gummy but resilient plastic, and beautiful. Good luck finding one (mine is not for sale).

FYI: The Rival is more Teebird-like, I love it since it doesn't flip in a head wind, and has a stable flight with an abrupt/sharp hook at the end.

I carry 3 Patriots. 1 1st run Icon, 1 1year old Legend, and 1 fresh Legend.

I guess the Legends were sort of a 1 run deal weren't they. I've tried looking for them and have not found any.

If a Patriot is good as everyone says they are I may be bagging a bunch pretty soon too. :D

My local shop does not sell a lot of Legacy so they probably still have those understable ones so i am afraid of buying another lemon. How do the straight Patriots look like compared to gummy flippy first run blues?
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

Check the Legacy Collectors page and Legacy Players Club pages on Facebook. You can find plenty there for 20-25 bucks

Are these Icon plastic? It looks a lot like Lat 64 GL. My Icon Gauge looks like standard Star or ESP, no marbling or swirls in the plastic at all.

Man that is some sweet lookin plastic.

Since the First Run blue Patriots are flippy, would the Red First Run Patriots be flippy? I seen a place online that had the First Runs, but all they had was red. I love that stamp so I may just get it for the stamp.

Thanks none of them seem that domey in that picture but the plh is not visible. I need to check out if some stiff yellow icons are available. Are all stiff icons straighter than all gummy ones? Mine is a fr blue gummy to some extent. Like soft non gummy Star like in the grippiest blue Star TLs. Does the stiffer icon make the plh higher than with the gummies? How much difference is there? I got so fed up with mine that i tuned the plh up to where it flipped about like a champ Leo and the fade got stronger which is all too common and thus useless around here and with my preferences. So do the stiff icons fade harder than champ Leos? If so how much? Like River, Fury or TL? River is pushing too much lss for me on many holes. Those others are worse.
