floating discs

didnt they discontinue the bulldog, and now they make bulldogs in the hydra plastic and call them hydras?

On the note of the new Hydra plastic... I was at our local shop yesterday and noticed the new Hydra - The plastic is a lot slicker and smoother.

I also saw new Dragons with the same type of plastic. The thinness of the Dragon mold in this new plastic made it seem quite Pro-like compared to the old dragons which had a very flexible and waxy plastic with a dull and tactile texture to it.

Now has anyone thrown these discs in the new plastic and does this new plastic affect the flight characteristics of these discs?

the original blend of dragons (circa ~2001) were nearly as durable as champion plastic.

neither the hydra nor the dragon are notorious for being great flyers so i really woudln't worry about it too much.

throwing over water is far superior than landing in it with a disc that floats.

instead of floating discs go the waders route, you can get your disc back, and find some other stuff. Speaking of which, monday I will have a new sell list, Im heading out of town for the weekend, and will post what new stuff I came across yesterday.
