Wanted some input from others. I get my daughter for the summer and want to introduce her to the sport. I am hoping that she finds it at least half as fun as I do. I would love to have morning frolfing time with her before work. Anywho...
My step-son has a star plastic Stingray that I am thinking would be a good starter disc for her. It's listed as a midrange (which is a good class to begin with) and is understable at normal speeds. I am thinking that with her starting out and not having the power and form yet for "normal" speeds it should fly almost straight.
Since he doesnt want it anymore and was gonna sell it as used I figured I'd give him some $$ for it.
I also figured that it would make a good shorter turnover disc after her skills increase. Think this is a terrible starter disc, or a helluva deal?
I also figured I'd let her use of of the Banger GT putters. Wife hates the groove and is going back to an aviar...
