Interesting. I think that grip would mess me up more than it would help me. I guess I can't say for sure unless I try it. Who knows, maybe this will be the next big thing?

I'm imagining throwing one of those on a hot summer's day and having the skin on my finger rip off...

A wise man clued me into the true purpose of the dimpled surface: superior mud/dirt collecting.

i'm not a big fan of this being "patent pending" as latitude 64 had this earlier and honestly, it's really just a few revisions removed from grip rings.
reminds me too much of the "patented" sliding links that were invented by strokesaver (including an announcement that they would not patent it because they felt all baskets would be improved if they had them) and then patented by dga.

I thought disccraft has already tried something like this before in the past. I swear I remember seeing some type of grip like this on some discs around 2001 or 2002. The grip was just the edge of two sides of the disc on the top edge of the flight plate, but didnt go all the way to the edge of the disc. It reminded me(at that time) of some snake skin type design. No-one else remembers this??
