I just got the 5 wizard deal and got 3 supersofts (lame since I requested no supersofts

) but I also got 2 med S wizards...the thing is...the plastic feels A LOT like the supersoft plastic...and nothing like my 2 other med S platic wizards. All I can say is this run of S plastic wizards is slick / rubbery and not nearly as nice as the old plastic coming off the hand...its stiffer too and the bead has a thin strip of excess plastic going all the way around it presumably from the mold.

i believe the plastic variations came out from the plastic manufacturers as both discraft D and gateway's s plastic came out slick with a few batches.
that's always been gateway's achilles heel... variations in plastic, runs, cooling, etc.

trick is to call them and place the order and demand that they be grippy
btw, according to justin at gateway the slick ones get grippy after they get a little scuffed on the bottom.
