Birdie Beads

I've seen these on the Gotta Go Gotta Throw webstore. Anyone use these? I'm wonder how the hell ya use them? I see that the 9, 18, 27, and 36th beads are of a differant color.

Blake: any instructions on the package or anything?

The ones I've seen are two strands of beads on leather cord. One strand is for bogies, one for birdies. At the end of the round, you add (subtract) the two to get your score.

yeah, and im geussing the 9,18,21,27 is for number of holes on the course, similar to a abacus, that pre calculator arithmatic device.

Or you could just keep track in your head. Unless I'm playing a course with a really high SSA and I'm shooting in the 70s or something, I never have a problem keeping track. There's a lot of rounds where I wish I wasn't counting and worrying about if I have to hit a birdie or whatever, but my head just does it automatically...

When I practice, I play 3 concurrent 3 disc rounds with 3 of the same driver, mid, and putter. I keep score in my head for all three sets including who has honors. I keep it in the form of # up or down from all par 3's. Only have to remember 3 numbers at any given time.
