Another "which basket" topic / DB-5 experiences

Im sorry for asking a question so many people have before, but im very confused as to which basket i should buy. i do not want a 'portable' basket like the skillshot, i want one that i can leave outside for short periods of time (but not all season long). this has steered me away from the instep basket as well, since it looks flimsy and cheap. i also plan on eventually buying 2 more of these for my own mini course.

my current choice, for 180 shipped, is the DB-5. seems very rugged, but there are not many reviews that i can find(or an any basket really). i heard it catches verry well for one set of chains, and i can always add another later.

i want to spend under 200, but the cheaper the better of course.

any more suggestions? no stores locally carry any baskets, so keep in mind shipping.

I have a DB5...its outside year round....ive had it for about a year and its still like new. Chains are stiff....and the second set made somewhat of a difference. About 45 lbs....4 wing nuts for quick and easy assembly.

umm....all around rugged basket. It's quality is far more durable that an M14...IMHO.

the db-5 is the only dipped/galvanized basket under $250.

so i really could leave it outside! alright, thats what i like to hear! sounds like a great deal to me, so i think im going to do it. i mean, if it really does catch noticibly worse than the courses here, i could just add chains. durability you cant add...

My db-5 is great. I was going to add inner chains but it catches pretty good so i never did. Its very durable and pretty heavy but still can be moved pretty easily. I brough it inside during the winter into my basement. Practiced putting all winter

Those baskets are great, the Octopuss and Jellyfish rival Mach III's (I havent putted on the Crab though)I think the Titan is the only basket that catches better.
That and they are rather portable it didnt take them long to set one up for ctp at WW.

oh yeah, and the DB-5 really is a great basket for the $
