Disappointed in star SL

Postby twmccoy » Tue Aug 01, 2006 10:12 am

Found one of these discs last weekend, and I had been anxious to try one after having great success with the pro starfire. These two discs however fly nothing alike. the star SL is far more overstable and doesn't glide nearly as well. It also fades out hard at the end of its flight. I'd say it flies like a champion orc.

Anyone else think that star plastic flies way overstable compared to other blends?

Once it breaks in it will hold the turn longer than even the pro starfire. I just didn't like the feel of the plastic much, nor it's gliding capabilities :-/

i know a lot of people that have dug the star sl because it is a lot more stable than the pro, but as a whole, it is a much more difficult disc to throw.
