Looking for KC Pro Eagle

Postby RustyP » Wed Sep 06, 2006 4:02 pm

I'm looking for a 'Candy' KC Pro Eagle, 173-175gm - preferably 11x plastic in white...but i'm not really concerned about the color as long as it's not black or dark brown.

This has been my go-to thumber, flex shot, forehand, pancake, general trick-shot driver for a few years. Mine was stolen while my girlfriend and I were playing in Shreveport, LA last weekend. I was teeing off over a small hill, so I never even saw the kid waiting by the basket until he was waving my disc in the air, running toward his buddy's truck. Before I even realized that he had actually stolen my disc (i always give disc golfers the benefit of the doubt) he was in the back of the truck, speeding away...needless to say, i was heartbroken.

I have several discs that I'm willing to trade, but I'm definitely interested in buying if none of these tickle your fancy:

175gm Champ Monster - used 8.5/10 - pink - factory weight is 175, but whoever had the disc before me wrote 177 on the back....dont have any scales, so I'm not sure

175gm Champ Monster - thrown twice 9.5/10 - light blue - pearlescent plastic, looks to be the X-type monster (slightly concave bottom lip)

174gm 10x 'Candy' KC Pro Cheetah - used 7/10 - off white - nicks and scratches along the rim, but still flies beautifully

172gm 1st run Champ Whippet-X - used several rounds 9/10 - orange

I'll check my stash and see if there's anything else for trade...thanks in advance if anyone has one of those Eagles. You would make my day!

Definitely a rare disc there. I find tons of discs and don't know if I even have any of those. I think CE eagles are more common than KC pro ones (at least the champion plastic ones)

I have a nice 10x KC Eagle, it's the KC/CE blend though, not candy.

I don't think so.... the one I'm looking for says "KC Pro Eagle" in large letters at the top w/ a circular line leading down to the innova swoosh logo. Sounds like yours is a CE eagle...does it actually say "Champion Edition" at the top and have a 4-point star stamp? If so (and if it's 173-175g), I'd definitely be interested...i have stuff for trade.

no it looks like a normal clear champ disc (dyed with an orange/yellow/red). says champion eagle distance driver, ken climo 11x. Feels like a normal champ disc but the rim is super stiff, I can not throw it for nothing, so overstable.

champ eagles

Yeah, when it comes to champion eagles ('Candy' Pro, CE, and whatnot) I have a hard time throwing them straight...but once they're broken in and the plastic has been softened up they'll hold a straight line with a nice, predictable fade at the end. I mainly use them for thumbers and tomahawks, but also for anhyzer flex shots...that's where they really shine.

above is true, but the EL molds will turn while new, all eagles are now the EL mold. Goodbye reliable eagles.
