Wanted: Bulk order X-outs

Postby TannerBoyle » Tue May 08, 2007 12:39 pm

I posted something similar in the Gen Discussion thread but I'm still looking. My budget is tight so I'd like to find the best deal possible.

I'm going to be teaching a DG summer school class in about a month. I'm in the market for around 25 beginner friendly discs (students will be 10-13 years old).

I would like to keep it to one mold...every kid throwing the same disc everytime. Mid-range/multi-purpose. X-Outs are no problem at all.

The best deals I have found so far are:

GGGT: Innova DX. $4.90 each. 25 min.

Discraft: ProD. 10 for $40. Multiple random models, no choice.

Anyone know of a place to get a better deal/price? Good place to get bulk orders?

PMs welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks.

I looked into EDGE already. The discs were a little over-priced (IMO)....they didn't really have a good package deal that didn't come with a bunch of fluff.

I'd call Innova on the West Coast and tell them what you plan on doing. I know that for our store was able to get a cheaper price because they were going to donate them to our local league for CTP's.

I think you could actually get a state or government grant to pay for a lot of the equipment, since it is for children. Your local city officials may also help out with funding, usually they are looking for good programs for kids.

I have a $200 from the school. I'm just looking to get the most out of it.

I would check with your local club and see if they have any members who are willing to donate some discs. I know I was able to get about 40 discs in the past this way for a mentoring program I used to work with.
