I was trying to keep it in the technically improper rock arena, but didn't explain myself well. I get around this in real life by just playing with a fixed bridge.
Even the improper rock arena isn't consistant. A tremelo pedal doesn't do the same thing as a trememlo bar. It's confusing enough for me that I avoid amps with a tremelo knob. Who knows what that thing might do.
