I've been enjoying the Pandora feed using MC 900' Jesus as the seed artist. Other than some Beasties that I don't care for, everything that's come up has been tasty and very little had I heard before.

yeah I saw that. I gave up my ticket when they came through Raleigh, NC with Baroness.. Stupidest thing I could've done. Missed them up in Asheville for their first tour of The Hunter... they'll be coming to Charlotte for the Opeth tour. Ghost looks like they put on a great show.

at 36, I come across bands a little slower than I used to! I can remember Nirvana playing the Antenna club here in Memphis on the Bleach tour so there was a time I was a little ahead of the curve. Mastodon has two qualities that I am immediately attracted to..1) odd time signatures...that comes from me listening to Rush and Crimson for so long and 2) actual vocal ability..their genre is sorely lacking in that
