I kept hearing this flu was worse for those with better immune systems. Meaning the young and elderly were not the target of this strain. Is that not the case?

I suppose it's possible and I'm not an expert, but I haven't heard that. Either way I was talking more in general, not specifically H1N1 in the quoted portion.

I actually did hear that the other day from someone I trust to have good information. The target ages were like 10 to 24 or something like that. It's why it's been a big deal on college campuses.

ONE difference between THIS vaccine and other flu vaccines, is that the virus is ALIVE in this one. Not dead, but just "weakened".

I'm seriously not sure if I want to get it for my kids or not. I never get flu shots since I got one back in the early 90s while in the Army. I got so damn sick it wasn't funny a few hours after the shot. Of course, maybe the Gov was experimenting on us soldiers.
