Can the Phillies repeat?!?!

Postby Solty » Wed Oct 21, 2009 10:06 pm

The Phillies put together a slugfest scoring over 50 runs in 9 Post season games so far! 10 more runs tonite....4 home runs!

Will it be the Yankees or Angels in the WS!!!

Let's go Phillies!!!

Phillies and Yanks would make for a great WS in my opinion. I am a Yankees fan...but not sure if the Yanks can cool the bats of the Phills if they make it to the WS.
If the object of disc golf were to hit trees, I'd be 1100 rated.

Yankees bats have been anemic lately except for A-rod. before the last game they were something stupid like 1-38 with RISP. Phillies pitching hasn't been great though and their bullpen has looked pretty horrible with the exception of Park. Yankees pitching has been great except for Joba.

I will say the Yankees win the WS in 6.

As much as I f-ing hate the Yankees, I really don't think anyone stands a chance. Yanks in 5 games. I REALLY hope I'm proved wrong, I'd hate to see A-Rod and Jeter toasting their wine coolers and getting fresh new lipstick endorsement deals.

Cubs have bigger goals than trying to win the world series. Like trying to find an owner.

They have sold the team. Also, I concur Dave.

This years playoffs sucked. Same old buy our players teams besides the twins and rockies who both lost rather quickly. Haven't watched a game since they were eliminated. Baseball needs to have a salary cap to make things more fun and exciting rather than having the same teams competing for the championship every year. Gets old. I do hope the Yankees lose to either the Angels or to Philly as they are the worst about buying players. Still hope CC gets a career ending injury. IF the brewers can pick up a few decent pitchers next year, expect them in the playoffs.
