Ripping music from youtube

Anybody know how to rip audio off youtube videos? I'd REALLY like to have this on ipod or cd.

All you need (and a great program to boot). Just select "What U Hear" for recording, hit record, and let the video play. Just make sure that you don't do other things on the computer that make sounds while it's recording or else it will pick those up as well. And once it's done you can easily edit it to remove empty space at the beginning and end of the recording.

The temporary Internet files. You just have to know where those are...haha.

If you use Firefox as your browser (maybe with IE too, not sure?) you can get an add-on called DownloadHelper which basically accesses the Temp Internet Files for you and allows you to save streaming data to your computer. I've been using this add-on for the last few years and it's totally safe. Check it out:

I use KeepVid.com to save the video to my hard drive. And then I use AOA Audio extractor to extract the audio.
