Back in my yooth, I was a Te-killya guy. Every year on my birthday it was one shot after another. It was funny to do a shot of Cuervo, then a few minutes later a shot of Cazadores, then some well shite! You know who your real friends are on those nights. The last shot of the night was always an 'L.A. Freeway'..................the drip mat poured into a rocks glass. (shiver) It would be a month or so til I felt like getting drunk again.

Cazadores is okay it has a bit of a bite. Patron is on par with Cazadores. 1800 is another damn good choice. José Cuervo Tradiciónal is pretty damn good. but the best available in the states is Don Julio Añejo. and if you have $150 extra cash and you are in México try to find a bottle of Don Julio 1942. It is the best goddamn tequila on the planet.

now as for Mezcal my favorite is Mezcal Oaxaca La Relíquia Añejo. it takes all the pain away.
