I also have a Boss ME-50B effects processor not pictured. My old guitar setup was my Crate GX-130C into an old school Crate 4X12 halfstack, combined with my Seymour Duncan Live wire pickup. Damn thing had 2 9volt batteries. With a Korg G1 distortion processor. It was DEATH, yet had tons of clarity.

I think it's a funny reference for this thread considering they're one of the tightest, most accomplished ensembles put together in pop music in the past 30 years. You'd have to search pretty hard to find a place to use auto-tune or anything like that in their live recordings.

5150's sound pretty damn good. I know what you're talking about with big/heavy. I normally play a crappy Valve Junior head/1x12 cab to jam with my buds. My 2x12 combo (ampeg vt22) has to weight about 125 pounds, that's a pain in the ass to try to get in my hatchback.

eek, yeah mine weighs around 90 pounds and band practice is a pain in the ass and tahts just once a week!
