Firefox hurt my feelings...

Postby Solty » Sat Nov 14, 2009 2:40 pm

So...after using firefox for eons....I've run into an issue that i cannot figure out. Whenever i exit out of firefox....the process in taskmgr wouldn't shut down upon exit. So in order for me to open it...i'd have to hop in Taskmgr and shutdown the process.

Needless to say it got old very fast so I now back to IE :(.....

anyone...buehler?

Have you run your anti-virus lately? Could be a Trojan.

You can choose that behavior (or not): Tools > Options > Main > Startup > "When Firefox Starts" you can choose from 3 options: homepage; none; windows and tabs from last time

If you're moving from Vista then I think you are making an excellent choice. If you are moving from XP then I'm curious to hear about any compatibility issues you run into.
