HDTVs

Postby uNicedmeMan » Mon Nov 16, 2009 12:54 pm

Just moved to a new place, and kicking around the idea of getting an HDTV. I watch a decent amount of movies and will be playing a bunch of xbox (my old 32 tv isn't going to cut it) . I'm probably looking for something in the 40ish inch size.

What are you guys rolling with? What are the best deals out there? I'm looking for a good equilibrium between price and quality.

I'm sure you can get a bit of info on here, but go to

http://avsforum.com

Best site hands down on teh interwebs for consumer electronics info.

I bought my HD HP TV (which was a repackaged Sharp) 4 years ago after recommendations from there.

I'd second that advice. Knowing what all the stats mean makes your shopping easier - you know what is BS and what is a real stat worth paying for.
