Anybody using it?



I've been on for a few days... hasn't disappointed, I'd been drooling over it for months. Just curious if any other geekers around here had been on the same jones. I could spare an invite or two if anyone's seriously seriously interested, but I got peoples in the real life to hook up foremost

I'm on it and haven't had any time to really look at it in depth yet but I am liking it so far.

say, email is out walking around in its BKs and Frankie Says RELAX shirt, because it hasn't changed since the early 90s.
then it gets run over and goes to the hospital
and the doctors are like WTF this is 2009
so they transplant realtime collaboration, grouping and view/edit permissions, and a limb each from txt, forums, chat, and conferencing

and it comes out as the 2009 version of super email


the coolest example in their what, 6-hour long video? is a view of a few paragraphs of an email, and you see 5 different-colored cursors typing on it in realtime. THAT, instead of Fwd: Fwd: Re: Fwd: RE: URGENT: Changes to v.15.8.6, Marty's edit of v.15.8.2

like 10 years ago my music collaborator and i set up a private page where we'd edit and re-up changes, all to share and build on ideas. right now we're doing the same thing on Wave, but in realtime and with lots of goodies. pretty freakin awesome... i can only imagine if we were doing something important

I've been wanting to try this out and see if it does better than my current IRC setup.
I've also been trying to get a voice invite if any of you geeks happen to have one of those available.

Oh this is going to make flash collabs so much easier. I just wonder how many fla files I can shoot back and forth before it starts messing up.
