The turtle beach ones are always flaking out on my friends that have them. They sound nice, but they're always coming disconnected.

Myself, I found the best value for the buck with the xbox communicator pack or whatever it is...the standard wired 360 heatset plus the keyboard. Good for chatting in-game while still hearing the game, plus quick to type messages to people I can't chat with (eg- in MW2 when I'm in a game mode that doesn't allow party chat).
I threw Wizards before they were cool.

I have had a Turtle Beach X1 headset now for 2.5 years and love it. When playing online for MW2, it's almost like cheating. You can turn the volume up on it and you can hear which direction they are coming from. I highly recommend the Turtle Beach X1. A few members of our MW2 clan have them and swear by them as well.

Check them out at Best Buy. On sale for $53.99
If the object of disc golf were to hit trees, I'd be 1100 rated.

Didn't see this when we were talking about them.

I bought the Tritton 720s and they are about 2x the price of X1s...Kind of wish I saved the money. The Trittons are 5.1 digital, but I'd be willing to bet that regular stereo you would still be able to discern directions just as well.

With the X1's, you can definitely tell what direction they are coming from in MW2(Even if they have Ninja Pro on). That has saved my ass more times than I can remember during a round.
