Nickelback. LOL. Normally I don't rag people on what they're into, but Nickelback truly sucks balls. At work, we have a word for that genre of music... We simply call it all "Silversack". It's all the same gay radio rock. And Nickelback is top of the list.

If I was asked this a few years ago, I would of said Lamb of God, Meshuggah or something super heavy and technical like that. But for the last year I've been reallllly getting into bands like Epica, Nightwish, and Sirenia.

You guys only hear their songs that makes it to the radio - they have a lot of underground stuff that is really catchy. Sorry I like music that's a little more complex than screaming into a microphone as loud as possible

I can relate a lot to the lyrics they write because its about real life stuff, and apparently so can a lot of people - their is a REASON they have owned the rock station airwaves for the last 8 years - its because they rock and kick ass.

Nickleback for sure, especially their newer more eclectic stuff. People hate on them but they are probably top 5 this decade in terms of creativity and song writing.
