Who's Playin' Modern Warfare?

I bought the game last friday and it has stolen my life... There is something very addictive about online shooters. Anyone else out there fraggin' fools?

How's the matchmaking on the PC? Sometimes on a saturday night it can take several (many) minutes to find a match in some game modes. Is it any better on the PC?

i play on 360...way too much (gt: jimlolol). I probably played 15 hours this weekend from the time I got off work Friday 'till Sunday night.

It doesn't help that a dozen friends from back in VA play as much as I do and I can pretty much turn on the xbox and get an invite any time of day or night to play. I prefer FFA though so we just invite each other to a lobby when there is space and fight for top score all day/night! It helps to avoid nuke boosters as well when half a lobby is friends of yours, and if you do get some, by destroying their attempts to cheat they usually leave after one round.

I'm usually playing hardcore TDM. Hardcore rules just make the game so much more enjoyable. You don't need to empty a clip of assault rifle ammo into people to get kills, and you can actually kill successfully with SMGs and pistols

One thing I would be concerned about on the PC is hacking.

My weapon of choice is the UMP 45. SMGs get it done FTW! I haven't really played much but Free For All and Team Deathmatch. Gonna have to see what this Hardcore business is all about.

OH...if you're going to check out hardcore, here's some protips:

1. Cold blooded. No, seriously.
2. Silencer. No, seriously. On everything.
3. Turn off Martydrom if you're using it, or you will kill your team mates (friendly fire is ON)

Primary: Famas with red dot and silencer
Secondary: USP with tactical knife

perk 1: bling pro
perk 2: cold blooded pro
perk 3: ninja pro

Primary: Vector with red dot
Secondary: Ranger with Akimbo

perk 2: Lightweight Pro
perk 3: Ninja Pro

sissies use the FAMAS, men use the FAL

I've been rockin' the AA-12 more recently as my secondary. If I'm not using an M-93 I'm using the AA-12. It's just hard to argue with that much buckshot in the air at once!

I think our perk choices are about the same. I rock sitrep sometimes too, if I want to hunt snipers (Oh look, a claymore over by that bush!).

I actually haven't played much in the last couple weeks. I prestiged, got myself back to where I can use the vector with a red dot and a silencer on it again, and then got busy with other stuff

FAL and UMP were my guns of choice on my first prestige. This time it is the FAMAS and Vector.

The FAMAS is wicked mean in hardcore because most of the time one bullet from it's burst will kill someone, so you can be horribly inaccurate and sweep across someone with a burst and still get the kill. I stopped using it because I started to feal cheap lol

The Vector is much the same way, really...but you'd expect that from a .45 SMG

I was surprised how far away I could get longshot kills with the Vector, even with a silencer. Now I don't use anything longer unless I REALLY need to...
