A few early predictions:

World Series: Texas vs. Philly. Texas in 6.

AL dark horse(s): KC will end up above .500. Toronto (yes, Toronto) will win the wild card spot.

NL dark horse: Atlanta. Mostly just because I hate the Phillies. Effing Phillies. Booooo

AL ROY: Jeremy Hellickson (I'm sort of being a homer here because he grew up a few miles from where I did. LOL)

NL ROY: Brandon Belt. Assuming he gets the playing time it will be no contest.

It's kinda nice getting to watch the season for a week before we start. I've been able to pick up a few sleepers that should pan out

ZJ, I saw you grabbed Trumbo recently. As long as he can put the bat on the ball (and keep getting PT) he should do well.

Frank, I was thinking we could do an O's vs. Royals wager based on who had the better record? You still have the upper hand, at least in my mind, but it's not the 1,000,000:1 odds I'd have to get on the Royals going .500 or better. What say ye? Oh, and what disc should we wager? What are you throwing nowadays? For me it's Aviar (SB or BB), Roc (Rancho obviously), Teebird, PD, Destroyer. Something in the $15-20 range I am thinking...

Trumbo will be a bench/reserve for me. He is a low average high power player. He never hit above .300 in the minors but always put up big HR #. I'm honestly banking on him getting on a hot streak and being trade bait. I think Francis is my best pickup. He was a beast before he got hurt

Yeah, you also have to keep in mind he was in the PCL which always skews the numbers. He'll hit some bombs this year though, if given the chance.

Not so sure about Francis, it will be interesting to see how he does in KC. Definitely a more pitcher friendly park than Colorado, at the very least.

I'm not worried about wins. ERA and WHIP are usually more important. If he goes 10-12 with a 3.00 era I'll be more than pleased.
