No, I don't really get that mad about drug references, but I'll edit them normally. What will piss me off is if someone edits their post to say to shoot them a PM because they can't post what they want.

Ya, I almost went to Cochella a number of times in the early part of the last decade. Kinda wish I had too; there were only 25,000 people attending at that time.

I got lucky in 07 and got to see rage against the machine for the first time since they got back together it was pretty cool, ya man its a great festival with good people and good food. Damn, only 25000? ive only been twice and they said it reached over 100,000 both times Im tempted just to sell the ticket and camping pass there up to 700 on ebay right now

In the early part of the 00's the festival had a very, very strong electronic component. While that still exists today, it's been pushed into the background by the rock show. I wanted to go in 2002 because most of the DJs I was digging at the time were there. Then I almost went in 2004 to see the Pixies and Radiohead, and again in 2006 to see Daft Punk and Tool. Daft Punk currently tops the "musicians I'd like to see live" list.

Looking at this year's lineup: Going to see Richie Hawtin (plastikman) would be worth the price of admission alone.

Yeah, I really want to go to this one as it's the first time Orbital's played in the States in like 7 years
